“DIGISKY ^TM ” PLANETARIUM PROJECTION SYSTEM
It is a full dome / sky digital planetarium system for fixed and portable domes (like DIGIDOME ^TM ) capable to demonstrate from very basics like diurnal motion to advance concepts of Astronomy like precession. It has been designed for minimum maintenance and Indian scenario and works on a technology that anyone can handle. One can start using it from day one. DIGISKY ^TM Digital Planetarium Projection System is modular thus not only easily up gradable with time but easy to use and maintain indigenously. No computer programming background is required to operate and maintain DIGISKY ^TM. .  The system consists of a high end DLP projector mated with a full dome good quality Fisheye Lens and a high performance graphics based Computer Control Unit that is installed with intrinsic and customized Planetarium Sky Simulation Software (PSSS) that is based on Nightshade / Stellarium. The software is available in various Indian languages like Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil and many more.
The computer control Unit is operated with a Hand Held Remote (Keyboard) or a Tablet provided along with the system.

DIGISKY ^TM planetarium system creates immersive environment with a realistic digital sky in 3D, just like what we see with the naked eye or a telescope. One can choose a location anywhere on the Earth and on other bodies of our solar system to view the sky in real time as well as go forward and backward in time. One can put labels in the sky and also show astronomy events like Eclipse, Occultation, Transit, Opposition and Conjuction.
Note: We can also provide customized DIGISKY ^TM system to suit your particular requirement like for dome sizes of more than 7 meters dia.

Sky software updates are made available via computer CDs or internet that allow you to receive the changes and enhancements from time to time that were made in the software after your purchase.

Digital Planetarium Shows
Up to twelve pre-recorded full dome shows (Copyright Leo Planetaria) in English language designed and developed exclusively for schools (K12) and a third party show are an intrinsic part of the PSSS.
AND
Each of the 12 shows is supported with a related Booklet in English language and set of activities that can be downloaded for distribution.

 Training
The training is provided to empower the teachers / users to exploit the potential of the system to the fullest. It has been designed optimally for a maximum of five persons and for five consecutive days. It aims to equip them with thorough knowledge of:
1. Operation
2. Maintenance
3. Up gradation
4. Content Development i.e. creating scenarios (planetarium shows) using the Planetarium Sky Simulation Software (PSSS).
Guidance and help are available after the training via internet by our experts on class wise/ lesson plan based content development.
Note:  No computer programming background is required to participate in Training.

TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The purchase is warranted against defects of workmanship and materials for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

Digidomes are inflatable portable / mobile wheel chair accessible domes that are inflated with a high velocity industrial floor fan. They are constructed from durable, fire retardant and opaque fabric that is custom made for the exclusive use for digital planetarium projection. They are available in different standard sizes. They can be easily installed in a class room, hall, cafeteria, gymnasium, multipurpose room, auditorium, lobby of a school / college. It requires 1 person to inflate a DIGIDOME ^TM. The inflation time is up to 10 minutes. They are available in blue or black colour.

Note: We can also provide customized domes to suite your particular requirement like: shorter dome height to accommodate short ceiling height OR domes with doors and tubes / rings that are inflated with blowers.
